255/35/19 square set up snow tires on Stock 19s

Hi Guys,

According to Tirerack, the Rim Range for 255/35s are 8.5-10

Our stock 19s are:
19x9 (front)
19x10 (rear)

Is it safe to assume then, we can run squares with our stocks?

Yes, already bought these exact tires. Mounting them on the M359s (same widths). The stretch at the back will look a bit silly but will be totally safe.

I heard the stagger is part of the making the traction control system effective...that true?

BMW sells the winter setup non-staggered in 18" size as their recommended 18" setup, so no.

Having the tires the same width really makes the most sense with the wheels the same as well. Are you going to rotate the 10in ones to the front at some point?

If you keep mounting and unmounting them to rotate, you're going to weaken and harm the bead.

i might rotate them every 2 years or so. (I keep my cars for 6-7 years max) I don't expect i would rotate them more than that.
