Question How much did you pay for your 335 Dinan Flash?

Did anyone of you successfully negotiate a lower price?

Tischer sells the flash for $1899. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102427

Any one getting a lower price than this?

I spoke with Dinan and they said they charge BMW 1900, if they sell below that BMW eats the cost... Then I found out that BMW (Performance BMW Chapel Hill NC) Cut their relationship with Dinan, because BMW is going to start producing their own Performance parts and enhancements. THe parts guy said that although he could not mention a specific date, that a there are some performance mods coming for the 335i

look for more items from BMW performance in March on 08. Thats when we are to start seeing hopefully some good stuff. and i asked and we get the program for 1900 like onesick3 said. we don't set the prices its all dinan. Now, if you can some how get your dealership to let you get something cheaper then what they paid then my hat is off to you my friends!

That can't be correct. Considering dealers are selling it for $2k, you're saying they're only making $100.00 profit? Tischer is selling it for $1899, so they're selling it at $1.00 below cost? No way.

That Dinan guy gave you the "business"

I believe T Bone found out that Dinan charges the BMW dealers $1,200 for their ECU Flash, so the dealers make $800 profit (+ ~ $200 for labor charges).

Got a quote from my dealer today for $2200 for Dinan. My CA also confirmed the rumor of BMW coming out with their own flash.

Hell, the labor should be free. All they're doing is hooking up the DME to a computer

Very doubtful, since they already know that many of the 335i tunes (PROcede, XEDE, JB2H, and now Dinan) are just as powerful or more powerful than the '08 E92 M3. My guess is they'll bump up the power ~ 25WHP / ~ 25-40RWTQ; similar numbers to the SSTT, but for A LOT of $$, imho...maybe so much $$ that they'll try to push those ppl considering the BMW 335i ECU tune to the new E92/E90 M3????

Those were my thoughts as well. Like I said previously in another thread, I believe there is a reason Dinan is only running 13.2 PSI. I'm sure they are being slightly conservative but maybe not? I'm sure they did enough R&D on the motor to know just how much boost you can safely run over an extended period of time without causing any adverse effects on the motor.
