Road & Track tests e92 M3
Did a quick search, didn't see it posted...forgive me if I missed it.
But Road and Track did a road test: 0-60 in 4.1 seconds 1/4 in 12.5 @ 114.8 mph 0-120 in 13.6 That's a blazin folks. I don't think a v2 only PROcede 335i is going to hang with that as speeds climb. Will also take some sticky tires on the 335i to rip a 0-60 in 4.1 seconds as well. I think on most street tires, a v2 only 335i auto might be close, but maybe a bumper length behind at that point. |

Yeah, kind of figured, but doing a search of "Road and Track M3" didn't show any results talking about this thread.
But again, I kind of figured it was since I got the magazine yesterday and I'm sure many others did in the past couple days too. Later |

Some here are running mid 12s with V2 and some other stuff. Check some of the guys signatures. Also in video section there is one that run 11.9sec at116. But M3 is M3.

Yeah I saw the test when I purchased the magazine. It is very impressive no matter where you look at it considering the heavy weight.
0-60 in 4.1 sec is just astonishing specially with such weight. |

335s might be able to race an m3 in a straight line with some proper tuning but m3s have the whole package... they have different performance parts, limited slip differential, suspension upgrades, etc.

Have you done any research at all? There is a guy that did all the suspension to get m3 tires on his 335i and cost him I believe 15k. And I don't think he even added any software yet. Its going to be tough to beat them but there will be those who are hardcore modders that will do it. I'd hate to see the price they paid once its done though. Also having to deal with the cooling issues of the turbos when your putting up those numbers. Much easier probably to drop one of the v8's they have I believe. At least reliability wise
