Behind the glove box. Have fun it's a huge pain to pull them and put them back, and you can't tell which it is.
A little tip though, it's way to the right and I think its yellow.

FYI: there's a fuse-puller in the fuse box that makes pulling it out very simple...

I have a new '08 335i e92 and want to add some hard-wiring connections (Switched for a radar detector & Boost Gauge, plus an unswitched for the GPS). I can see the fuse block, and have the chart, but the chart has symbols of what is fused to what and there's no legend.
Also, the Owner's Manual is (no surprise), no help. Does anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram and/or fuse block chart that is fully labeled? (Note that this is a very new car, so REALOEM.com and such are no help.)

Try find a DVD called "BMW WDS" (Wiring Diagram System?). It runs in an IE window and has all the wiring diagrams of BMW vehicles from E38. Unfortunately, the latest one I found is 8.0 and covers up to E90/91 only. Maybe there's a newer version now. |

I just today went into my local dealership's parts dept and asked about getting a service manual, and was told they don't carry them any more. I'd have to go out into the shop and get one of them to print out something. (Almost certainly from that WDS system). I just want a simple circuit diagram showing what fuses are switched, and which are not, and what all the symbols are on the fuse-location chart. (But I'm sure it will be years before Chilton's, Haynes, or Bently's will have something out for a 2008 e92.)

It really is pretty hard to use. I spent several hours just trying to identify which fuse numbers are switched, and which are unswitched (via ignition). No results yet. There's no Table of Contents, no overall circuit diagram (that I've found). I've not even found a legend. I know they would want you to have all the work done by the authorized workers, and I have a lot of respect for them, but it IS my car, and I should be able to look and see what fuse goes to what gadget.
