Ordering new 08 335xi vs. 07 on lot

I am having trouble finding a dealer anywhere near me that will take an order for the $500-1000 over invoice that I am hearing others here have been able to negotiate.

Any dealer recommendations? My local dealers are looking for $2000-2500 over invoice in spite of the fact that I have leased from them before.

Any dealer recommendations would be welcomed.

PS- I have found a very nice 07, equipped 99% of how I would order (it doesn't have PDC that I would want and it does have the 18" sport wheels that I would otherwise not order) - I can get this for $400 over invoice plus great money factor.

Dear MAPC,

Maybe you can try cars.com or one of the buyers clubs (SAM's, BJ's, COSTCO).

The NJ dealers I went to in 2007, started at MSRP to 2K over invoice.

Did you ask to speak to any sales manager?

There may be a bigger incentive for them to move the older stock first.

Maybe they are trying to nudge you towards the 2007?

Peace out.

The 07 is at a different dealer as I wanted to play the 07 against the 08 as aggressively as possible.

Get the 08 for the LED license plate bulbs standard.

In all seriousness you are getting a great deal on the 07, but I don't know if they would be that aggressive on the 08.

Maybe you can use the money saved over the 08 for a piggyback like a PROcede, JB2, TT?

Let's see---at about $50 per month delta between the 07 and 08 x 33 months, that means the bulbs cost $1650. DINAN chip is $1800 - 2000. I don't think I'll lose any sleep on that decision!

I'm negotiating a similar deal on a leftover 07 335i Sedan. As well as the $400 over invoice is the dealer trying to tack on a dealer or doc fee? If so, how much?
