iPhone 6 Compatibility

Can anyone confirm compatibility with the current idrive system and the iPhone 6? Specifically, bluetooth MUST work. Going to be getting a new phone soon!

Ordered my iPhone 6 and should get it right after I pick up my car. I hope that the set up is the same as I do with my 5S but I will have to wait and see for both my car and phone

I've found that there is a weird little hiccup with ios8 if you stream music from your phone via Bluetooth. The volume level of your phone will now affect the volume of the output through your speakers. App volume and Music Player volume didn't used to be linked but now with this latest os, they are. I had the volume knob in the car maxed out and the audio was barely audible. It took me 2 days of playing with the settings on both the car and my phone with my music coming through at a whisper volume in the car to finally figure it out. Turning down the volume level in seemingly any app will now also affect the volume level in the music player. If you are like me and turn down the background sounds and shitty caned music in applications until its almost inaudible, you now need to go into music player before getting into the car and pull the the volume slider back up to 100% or you will have no volume in the car. Just something to be aware of.

No problems here with the iPhone 6. Bluetooth works for both music and calls. Music and BMW connected work thought the usb using the apple cable too.

With the bmw connect on my iphone 6, it now works with the gopro, m laptimer, and amazon music. It's new to me as it didn't work on my android.

My Bluetooth used to work with my iPhone 6. But now it doesn't at all. The Bluetooth disconnects once the phone call is connected. Any one else?

Same issue with iPhone 6 and ios8 and office not working. I called BMW Genius and they confirmed that the phone and ios are not compatible with Office. I've had some intermittent problems with playing music also.

I just wanted to post to say that I am running iOS 8 on an iPhone 6 and when I am streaming via Bluetooth I do not have the option of lowering/raising the volume on the phone. The only way I can raise or lower the volume is with the knob..

I've found that I can skip to a song on my playlist when I stream via bluetooth with my iphone 6. Anyone have that problem? I can still do next and previous, but just not choose song via my playlist

Just picked up my 2015 and I did notice that it does drop the calls after a few seconds and I also connection to my music. My dealer told me it's the phone so hopefully with an update it'll work itself out

So office definitely no longer works with iPhone 6? I'm a tech guy and I've really been trying to find a phone that will do SMS/Email through the BMW 'office' feature. Frustrating how spotty this is.

I've had no luck on my Android phones either
