Rear window sun-shade

Is there any way to get the factory automatic rear window shade installed if I did not get it when I ordered my car? I would love it now because I'm not going with tints at this point and at night the headlights behind me are blinding. And yes I did not get the premium package as you can see. Any help is appreciated.

I guess it's probably, but also expensive.

I think there is a kit for a manual one it will be very costly to get the power unit in there.....

The best $320 I spent when ordering my car: Rear Power Shade & PDC!

I remember inquring about it last year, and my dealer mentioned it's pretty much order up front as a factory option. As someone mentioned, it's difficult to install afterwards.

It's available as retrofit in BMW's acessory catalogue. Look it up for pricing. Me glad for order it, acceptable alternative to tinting

Rear window sun-shades were a great idea.

I wish my cars had them haha.

Agreed. I was actually thinking about my list of options that I got the other day, and I've used everything I've gotten and enjoy it. The folding seats I haven't used much, but the ability to do it when needed is great.

Yep. Had my car tinted even with the rear shade. It helps when I need it.

As for the after prduction install....if you have the money and you really want it, go for it. I just wouldn't spend that kind of cash. Cheaper and cooler to get the tint.
