No problems so far. I've had tint on all my cars back to the early 1990's.

35% all around isn't as bad as having 30% all around. 35% is still considerably light.

Really depends on how your car looks and how you are driving and the area you live in.

It varies a lot.

Two tickets; two times for my 35%. One for every window in the fronts. But never take them off, some cops are assholes about it, some are not. Is like giving a ticket for parking 30 feet from a stop sign or jay walking, is a law but who really enforces it. I've gotten pulled over many times, and never fucked me. But both times I've gotten a ticket, was through Road blocks. Now I know, that when I see one, just pass by with your two front windows down.

Ive got pulled over and got a ticket for 50% tint on my front windows before. They were being as ass and gave me one of those "take it off then report for check up" notifications. So i had to take it off and report back for inspection ><

I got a fix it ticket for no front plate and I'm pretty sure the cop saw my front windows were tinted as he asked me to roll down my window. I have 35% in the front and the cop didn't care. It was a big waste of time, the traffic dept ended up waiving the fix it ticket fee. I live in the Bay Area, CA so it does depend on your location.

It really does depend on what state you live in.

tint is tint. whether it's 5% to 50% you can get a ticket. the chances are just summed up the lower percentage the tint is.

20% here and no problems. (knock on wood)

For the USAREUR people on here, in Germany (where any tint at all on driver or front passenger window is illegal): I had 35% on all four doors and 25% on the rear window of my 330i and never once had the polizei complain (had USAREUR plates too.) The MP's told me to take it off once but I just ignored them and never had any issue. It all depends on how big of a prick the MP's on each base want to be, some are definitely worse than others.

As long as you check w/ your state law for tint % and you're within its parameters any ticket can be fought and won. Just cause some cop wants to be a jackass and give you a ticket because he 'feels' your tint is too dark doesnt mean you have to accept it. The law is the law, its 35% all around here in mass so theres nothing they can do but suck it up and lose in court.

Never here in FL. We can have as low as 28% for the front sides and 15% for back sides and rear.

I would also fight a ticket if the law allows your front tin to to be say 35% and you have 35% tint and get a ticket. I know the cops here in FL have a light meter that they can measure the light penetration so their is no question if you are above or below the limit. Since we have a low % here it is sometimes hard to tell the difference between say 30% and 20% tint.

For CA it seems that the front windows can't be less then 70% (yikes) so if you have 35% on the fronts then you are dead in the water as that is easily distinguishable between 70% and 35%. No meter needed to tell that.
