Plan on selling car.... Advice please

So it's time I sell my 08 335. Should I put the car to stock and sell it or is it better to leave everything on? I think it's more appealing when the car is stock? I have fmic, dp, bov, tune, intakes, exhaust, boost vent gauge, Inside trim wrapped and intake scoops. Advice please

Go stock, and sell off the parts, you'll make more money that way

+1 I think it'll be more appealing stock only because a potential buyer will likely assume the car has been abused cause of all the power mods on the car.

Definitely remove your mods and part them out.

People and me personally usually tend to want a stock car, but stock untouched, too late for you lol I have bought modded cars but that person really would have had to do the work right and take great care of the car because of course it's been beat on usually.

Off topic. But I'm sure I'm not the only one who laughs and calls bullshit when you look on Craigslist and see a heavily modified car (go fast mods) and the person says never raced or tracked lmao

Thanks for all the advice! What about clutch wise. I have the spec stage 2+ in it. Should I put the stock one in? The stock clutch didn't slip with stock hp.

Keep it, clutch can be consider part if maintaining the car, that's a plus keeping it in.

I believe I will be going the route of parting my car out. And no one should ever expect what they paid. It is used parts now after all.

You don't say how many miles are on the car, but I assume since it is an '08 probably under 100,000. I would leave the clutch in the car just because it is a lot of work to remove it and you'll never sell a used clutch anyway. Even if you did sell the clutch the value of it is not worth the effort to remove it. Secondly advertising that the car has an aftermarket clutch will make a potential buyer concerned as to why the car had a new clutch installed before 100,000 miles. I'd leave the subject about the clutch alone altogether.

I'd say it depends on your buyer. If I were buying it, and it looked like you did a good job, it might be more appealing than stock. I have modded my car slightly (Vishnu Tune), but I really haven't raced it. When I sell, I will remove the Vishnu, because my next car will be another 2011 335i.

However, as others have said, it doesn't increase the value of the car, so the mods would essentially be "gifted" to the buyer. I'd leave the clutch and exhaust as is, for sure...

This all day long. You'll make more selling them yourself separately. This is why I always recommend keeping your OEM parts

Yup! I learned from my previous car when I didn't keep the stock parts. This time I'm ready and can make some extra cash from parting my mods
