need help with wheels and tires

So, i recently put a set h and r sport springs on my 2008 328i e90. i do not have the sport package and i do not have drive. the spring lowered my car a lot. i would like to put rims and tires on, but I'm debating would 17's be to small and or would 18's be to big. i mainly want 17's or 18's. can't decide.

My vote goes to 18 inch wheels and with relatively aggressive specs. Something like 18x9 front 18x10-10.5 rear etc.

For example

Go for 18s for sure, otherwise 17s are not really an upgrade.

X2, 17s will not be much of an upgrade. In 18s there are many more choices and they will greatly improve the overall look of your E90.
