Ever done a donut in your E92?

Any automatic owners do it?

I've never done a donut in my life and i have this sudden craving to try it out after a while of owning my new ride (i know its immature but i must try it atleast once)

How do you do it with an automatic RWD?

You'll have a job with our car as they Don't have LSD..

It'll just spin one wheel.

Also NOT good for your auto transmission at all..

Can't believe I'm sounding so serious... lol

I think you will find that was a handbrake turn.

No problem doing one in an auto.

Just accelerate, throw the vehicle into a turn, keep your foot of the brake, pull the handbrake on a little and use the accelerator to loosen up the rear end and you are away.

Harder in a manual as you'll stall if you don't dip the clutch.

I used to handbrake turn my Ford Cortina all the time when I was 18. Happy days

LSD not entirely necessary to loosen the rear ... Not 18 anymore, but still indulge occasionally (here for a photoshoot). These will be my wheels for the next few weeks when I return to the UK over christmas.

That youtube video shows a rather clumsy hand brake turn.

This is a doughnut ! Link to Video
