MPBBK - coding required post DIY install ?
Gents
Can't reconcile cost of MPBBK for f2x series supply and fit by dealers here in the UK. Considering a cheaper DIY alternate as follows:- - use blue msport calipers off an f30 335i and 370mm dia MPE rotors for the front and MPE 345mm rotors on rear so I retain matching blue calipers front and rear. Does the car need coding for MPBBK ie abs re-calibration ? If so can this be coded retrospectively ? Advice welcome, thanks in advance, BP

Dont know if thers actually anything electronically different, but if it were me, I'd add the "2NH - M Sport Brakes" to the VO/FA just to be sure.

i think it changes the brake balance between front and rear
you could use the NCD/CAFD tool and the FA-CAFD section and see what changes are made |

Pikcachu,
Thanks. Did a search for SBPR in F30 forum and came up with these 2 threads http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...highlight=SPBR http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...highlight=SPBR Unclear whether or not these are relevant/useful for F2x series ?? BP
