Anyone have the weight of the style 393 OE 17" wheel?
I've been keeping an eye out for a winter setup and I'd love to run the style 393 for that OE look.... maybe paint them black for fun, maybe not.
The price for new is a little more than some of the entry-level go-to 17s on tirerack. Used take-offs would be ideal with TPMS, but I'm not seeing a ton of them and people usually want close to wholesale price anyway. Plus tirerack mounts and road-force balances for free. I'm wondering if it's stupid to hunt and/or pay a little premium for the 393s, which would be the case if they are more than say... 23 pounds (looking at wheels 21 lbs or under on TR). Does anyone have the weight of the 393 wheel? |

Sounds a little high for a 17, but that is what I found in my searching as well.

Hmm so maybe I'm better off just going through tirerack for everything. 9 lbs unspring and rotational is not insignificant.
