Paint or leave as it is M Performace Carbon fiber M4 trunk spoiler? Opinions, pics?

Hey. My Sakhir Orange M4 with black wheels is due to be at the dealer for pick up on aug 22.

I like the M Performance CF trunk spoiler and I'm planning on ordering one. Just wanted an opinion. Leave it in the exposed clear-coated carbon fiber or paint it Sakhir Orange?

Any pictures of it painted or in CF on sakhir or Valencia orange?

I've seen Alpine White with CF spoiler and it looks great; not sure how it would look with Sakhir Orange????

Do you have the CF roof?

Are you planning other CF add-ons = diffuser, front spoiler, etc?

I believe I was the first one to paint the spoiler the same color as the car back in the e92M3 days and it looked awesome with white. I did it with my Monte Carlo Blue M3 it didn't look that good, I did it with my space grey and it didn't look good. I think with white it looks good but with SO IMO I would leave it exposed, but thats just me!

I painted the top half and left the bottom exposed on my E92. I loved this look because it showed a hint of cf but still blended in with the car very well so that it didn't look like I just stuck something on. This is probably what I'm gonna do with my AY M4 as well.

The M4 spoiler is nothing like the E92 spoiler, since the M4 already has a ducktail. I thing the CF "shortens' the duck tail look and would look better body color. Just my opinion.

Yes CF roof. The only other add on I'm considering is the CF diffuser vs wrapping or painting my stock one, gloss black. Every thing else including front grills, gills and badges gloss black.

They have a matte black version of the m3 spoiler which is much cheaper than cf. so if ure going to paint I would get the matte black if/when they release it for the m4

Do you think the body colored spoiler will look better because it enhances the duck wing or do you prefer the CF?

I'd leave it CF until you get tired of it. It will look great with the roof and your black wheels.

IND will paint a body color stripe on the top edge of the spoiler. Looks fantastic and less like a slap on mod.

If it were my car, I would paint it. I am putting body color grill surrounds on my SO M4, not black.

this, I like the contrast with the body color. If it didn't have the CF roof, then I'd paint it.

I can't find a picture of it, but IND does this really cool paint gradient - basically the top and bottom are body color but as the color approaches the edge it fades to clear so you see the carbon along the rear edge - I think it's super cool and it's what I'd do.

Leave carbon fiber and get 3m red or other m color 1/4 inch pinstripe along the back edge of the spoiler. You can remove it if you don't like it
