Anyone have contacts in couriers?

I may need to organise the transport of my 42" plasma and was wondering if anyone had any contacts or suggestions on who to use etc?

I'd pay a removal company rather than a courier.

If you are selling it, why not get the purchaser to organise collection or shipping? That way he takes the risk on damage.

I already did this - he's got a courier picking up tomorrow. When I asked if they had proper packing and insurance he was at a loss. I'm just looking into how I go about it incase I end up arranging it.

Understood.

As said .. I'd probably use a removal company, for a one off move of something valuable.

Or just hire a van and do it yourself.

Think I'll end up using Parcelforce - bit too much of a drive upto Scotland for me - my time is worth more than that

If anyone else has any other ideas - please feel free to share

Do you have the original packaging ?

If so, I wouldnt use Parcel Force, I would use Amtrak, City Link, Interlink Express, or even UPS....
