I'm considering to switch to 300v 5w40 or 5w30, and I'd like to hear if there is anyone out there using it on N20 engines?

The Motul 8100 X-Max is the correct choice. Although I'm sure that the 300v Racing oil will do fine, you're paying 50% more for little or no additional performance, especially if you insist on changing every 5K/7.5K miles.

Thanks bro! Situation is that I used 300v on mine ex car which wasn't BMW.

The recommended oil change interval for 328i in my country is already 6k miles, which fits perfectly for regular oil interval change, but I'm bit surprised to see that nobody is using it so far.

I might consider to get 8100- X-Max as alternative.
