Hartge ECU on my 335d

Hartge ECU ( +50hp / + 100Nm ) installed and tested. Test run 80 - 200 km/h gave 13s. Before was 17s.

Managed to get 4.6 l/100km ( 51 mpg )fuel consumption today. Careful driving in ECO Pro at 80-90 km/h.

My normal consumption with mixed driving is 6.2 l ( 38 mpg ).

Is there a way to recalibrate / reprogram the Sport display ( power / torque ). The one in the 335d stops at 640 Nm......

Hartge say 80-200km/h 17.58 stock and 14.05sec after. I think this is great, 335i is slover for 1-2 second.

Great numbers, but a bit pricey...

Sweet!

Congratulations on the tune!

What made you choose that over AC Schnitzer?
I'm planning to tune it as well and these two are on the list...

Did you do any dyno runs before applying the tune and after?
I saw in an article that both tunners actually *under*estimated their HP, Torque increases.
http://www.ac-schnitzer.de/fileadmin...t_englisch.pdf

The reason I'm a bit hesitant to go the Hartge way is the torque increase.

As far as I've been able to dig up, there are are several versions of the ZF 8HP auto transmission...
8HP45 - Max torque supported is 500 Nm (diesel)
8HP70 - Max torque supported is 700 Nm
8HP75 - Max torque supported is 750 Nm
8HP90 - Max torque supported is 1000 Nm (diesel)

THB I don't know exactly which one is on ours, but I'd say that it's the 8HP70, which is why the 730Nm provided by Hartge is worrying me a bit.

Did they mention anything about that?

I seem to remember a story about the Hartge causing some tranny problems because of the high torque when I was surfing the net doing my research on PBs. Personally, I'm impressed with Steinbauer Performance if I was going to go that route. I'm also considering an ECU flash, haven't made up my mind.
