New Release - Meisterschaft exhaust for the M235i!

This year, as a replacement to the old E82 1-Series, BMW has released the all-new F22 chassis 2-series with the current flagship model being the M235i. As this is BMWs new compact, lightweight, sports coupe, we were very excited to get our hands on one and begin developing!

The Exhaust

With the great results our Meisterschaft exhaust has yielded with the N55 engine in the current F30-Series and F32 4-Series we decide not to stray far from our current design.

Thus, our newly developed Meisterschaft exhaust system for the F22 M235i is available in the following configurations:

Meisterschaft GTC (EV Control) (SUS)

  • Single canister design featuring electronic valve control allows you to “turn off” your exhaust system when you want to keep quiet, subtle, and stay under the radar.
  • Available with our 2x90mm or 2x102mm signature Round Split Lemans style tips.
  • Includes our SR Pipe which deletes the middle resonator in order to provide the most aggressive sound and performance in open mode.
  • Enlarged 90mm piping for optimal exhaust flow and power gains.
  • Hand tig-welded T304/T316 stainless steel construction.

Meisterschaft Super Light GT Racing (SUS) or (Ti)

  • Canister-less design provides increased exhaust flow resulting in substantial performance gains as well as a beautifully aggressive sound!
  • Available with our 2x90mm or 2x102mm signature Round Split Lemans style tips.
  • Includes our SR Pipe which deletes the midde resonator in order to provide the most aggressive sound and performance at all times.
  • Enlarged 90mm piping for optimal exhaust flow and power gains.
  • Hand tig-welded T304/T316 stainless steel construction.

Options

Cat-back Bolt On AR Pipe

  • Makes for a full cat-back bolt-on application, no cutting involved!
  • Increases full cat-back pipe diameter to 90mm for best performance and added turbo sound!

Turbo-back Catless Downpipe

  • Removes the primary catalytic converter to obtain the most aggressive performance gains and sound!
  • Exhaust pressure reservoir design allows exhaust gas to exit the turbo more quickly, resulting in increased efficiency and power!

I wonder how the tailpipe fitment differs between the stock and M Performance diffuser...

What is the purpose of the dividers in the exhaust tips? Does the super light GT have these as well? Also is it possible to get some pics and vid of the GT on an M235?

I believe those are the valves to control sound levels.

No I think those are back further into piping. I seen a video looking into the exhaust as it was open and closed and you can see it back in there

Those don't move, not sure if it changes the sound, personally believe that's their signature look.

I had their exhaust on my 135i and I must say the quality and sound is amazing.

I would to get this for my M235i, but the price is way over what I want to spend.

Do you know if the AR pipe will fit with the MPE exhaust?

Sounds kickass, best setup I have heard so far and most versatile. I think they did a fantastic job at making it sound mean, potent, throaty, and exotic, all without being obnoxious. and silent mode opportunities are very cool.

$2847 shipped, far above what I was looking to spend as well for little gain. I think that is better spent towards my LSD

If you read the fine print I think the exhaust comes with a new engine attached.

Been a week since I installed the Meisterschaft exhaust on my M235. I must say it sounds incredible outside and inside the car. I have the GTC version (with valves) and I also added the AR Pipe making if a full bolt-on cat-back. Have to admit that I haven't had the need to close the valves yet as the exhaust doesn't drone one bit and it isn't obnoxiously loud. Having driven a 335 with an M-Performance exhaust, the difference between a Meisterschaft Cat-back and a simple axle back exhaust is night and day. The M Performance exhaust only enhances the sound outside the car and doesn't change the sound from inside one bit. Whereas the Meisterschaft changes the whole feel of the car with the sound it makes inside the car. The video clips don't do justice at all to be honest, the actual thing is so much better.

Very nice. So no cutting was involved for the install? I take it the AR pipe can connect to the stock piping without issue which I assume is the stock down pipe?

Do you happen to have any video?

Exactly, no cutting was involved as the AR Pipe connects directly to the down pipe. I don't have any videos yet but I'll try to post one up in the coming days.
However, this video gives a pretty accurate idea of what it sounds like.

Same burbles when revving and same popping sound when upshifting when in sport or sport+. When on comfort mode, you still get to hear plenty though!
