M235i - lost both front wheel center caps

I lost both front wheel center caps on my M235i. Just when I thought it was just on my car my son saw this one (see photo attached). Did anyone else lose their front wheel center caps?

Few people have reported the same. Dealer should provide replacements...free. Some people used some extra tape when installing them back.

Mine escaped too! Front left. Dealer said other locals reported it. Bad wheel design?

So even the 2015s have this issue... you'd think this is the kind of thing that would be easily resolved from one MY to the next. Ridiculous that we have to wait for an LCI just to get a fix.

I bought a replacement (off amazon) and I also emailed dealer. We'll see.

I lost one before when I was on stock 18s, but found it on my front lawn (super lucky). I ended up taping the edges of the cap so that they fit more snug.

Since then I've changed to aftermarket wheels (an extreme way to avoid losing caps )
