Hello Guys,

So now that there are actually a specific spring for the F8X, does anyone have them installed yet?

Pictures?

Most of what I've seen on this forum has been the 435 sport springs on the M4. There was one post of the actual M4 sport springs but it looked way to low, especially in the rear.

The M4 springs are the same as the 435 Sport springs. But they also have a Super Sport which is an even bigger drop.

H&R springs when released will be M4 specific, 1.3 inch drop front, 1.2 inch drop rear, eta end of August, or beginning of September

So why does H&R List the F82 M4 on their site with the same springs as the 435?

LINK

And Im not being a dick Im asking. Do you know something we all dont? Are these just a place holder for some newer versions they are coming out with specific to the new M cars?

I called H&R and asked the spring rate difference between the 435 super sports and the M4 sport springs. The guy says "We don't do spring rate." Ok then, what is the difference. He couldn't explain.

I went to Turnermotorsport.com website, on their H&R page it shows the springs, at the bottom there is a will this fit my car icon, I entered a 435 coupe just for giggles, stated it will not fit. I don't know why, give them a call and if they don't know they will find out, most likely while you wait, good guys.

That was an error on the H&R website that was corrected some time ago, M3/M4 springs are different than 435i.

I just got a few M4 sets in today.

Can't wait to see how the car turns out today. If you can, take some pics like you guys did with that red M235i you installed springs on. That showed the difference extremely well!

Interested in this as well. Would love to see some pics of the diff between the Sport and Super Sport springs. I just want to lower the front a bit w/o slamming it. I had RD springs on my 550i and it was a tad too low. The stock M3 is fine in the rear but the front is ridiculous.

I think the front needs to be a little lower or the back should be a little higher. Even with the H&R springs the back is lower than the front.

There still needs to be a better option.

Don't look at the wheel well gaps. Look at the side skirts and how level the actual car is. You don't want to slam the front too much relative to the rear, for suspension travel and handling balance issues.

(visually, at first glance, I agree the front looks high, and I'd still like to see a set on the F80 M3, since the 335i Super Sports slam the F80 rear! But, look at the rest of the car and I think the drop looks good.)

These don't look a whole lot different than the supersports to me (I've taken lots of pics of mine) The 435 supersports probably maintain factory rake better.

I'm plenty happy with them til coils come out. They work really well. I bet the M versions are very very similar. Just one guys opinion.
