700hp & 650tq for $60K from the factory

The new Hellcat will be quite a beast. I know we are on a BMW forum and it's not as drivable, handling, interior, etc.... but lets give props where props (may) be due. If this is a reliable car and can be daily driven this is an amazing feat. Who is selling this much power new from factory under $70K?

Very impressive yet ugly ass car and looks like shit inside. I heard it was putting up numbers close to 911 Turbo which is very impressive for that size of a car.

I think you would need a pit mid lap for a new set of rears.

It has one goal and sticks to it. To be a drag racer and do it without shame. It's getting back to basics and keeping simple. It makes choices easier.

Really?

You don't have some (even if its childish) love for a modern Challenger styling? The side profile sill makes me smile, maybe its just because I loved the original. I can agree if the interior was laid out in a modern way with modern materials I would buy it in a second.

I do agree, if the interior was more modern I would buy its a track car as well but its just freaking ugly. Its a drag car, I dont drag race need a lap car.

Will involve many brake skid marks and then you have to factor in the time of the tow truck after it eventually loses control on the 5th turn and goes into the trees.....

You guys are nuts if you think this interior is "shit" and not "modern". The original Challenger interior is bad - the 2015 is WAY better.

This image looks good but not very appealing to me. I feel like the new C7 and this both have some Pontiac vibe going on. Guess everyone has an opinion.

A simple car with adaptive suspension, advanced traction management systems, 15.4 inch brakes with Brembo calipers, aero upgrades, 8-speed auto and a 200mph top speed. But yeah, its just a basic drag racer.

I'll venture to guess that it'll make it around a track just as well as the F10 M5.

1) IMHO one of the ugliest cars ever made.
2) Go check out the build quality on one.
3) 707 hp and traps 126 mph? LOL... where is the power? Oh yeah, it's also heavy.
4) Have fun taking turns in this Mopar POS.

Americans can make good cars... the Vette is an example; this is not.

Well it's gotta keep up with the times somehow.

From what I've read, it can burn upto 1.5 gallons of fuel per minute.. Talk about being thirsty!!!

As mush as I like the numbers it puts out, I don't think it's going to be nimble.

As someone stated, the new Corvette z06 will be a better overall performer...

Why are you finding this slow? They quoted 10.8 1/4 imagine what happens if this actually hooks up.

Car and Driver... in fact it was 125 rounded up. Roflcopter...

Typical Chrysler or GM crap that is the Z28...

The only exceptions to American cars are the C7 and Viper ACR; everything else is total dump.

I understand people not liking the cat. As car enthusiasts as I assume most members are how can you hate on a 10.8 factory car (adding street legal drag radials)?
