Phone Mount Options in F22

Hey guys,
Looking for a mount to use with my iPhone that could be mounted in front around the cup holders. I want it to be easily visible and not locked away under the console. Thanks.

I went with a Proclip vent mount and I love it, install was 5 mins super easy.

This looks like a great option. Did you the USB cable through the console/shifter tunnel up to the front?

Yes there's a DIY in that section. Pull the vents, run the cable. Actually think safer than cup holder bc you don't need to look down all the time.

Can you take a pic of the setup? I would appreciate it. Wanna see what it looks like before I get it.

You could try this DIY mount like I did in my car, it's been working out great.

I have my phone mount on the left lower windshield; cable hidden around steering column. Let's me use the screen functions and Torque App while keeping my right hand free for more important duties

One more:

http://www.kenu.com/products/airframe

$24.99 at Amazon.

Not perfect, but pretty good with no defacing of the car in any way.

That looks good. Just FYI the Proclip is all completely reversible no holes or anything. You get a bracket that clips over the vent can be removed easily. Just fits in gaps.

Amazon.
Did you have to drill to pass through the USB cable with this setup? Or are you just using BT?

Ditto. Sits right next to and slightly below the nav screen, so I can glance at both with one glance. Works great!

Another plus is that depending on where you mount it (mine is as far towards passenger side as possible) you lose virtually none of the vent.

I went with this:

I run the wire under the front of the shift boot and down the side of the console

Has anyone found a way to run the USB cable through the console tunnel without running the cable outside of the armrest compartment (as in the DIY)? Would prefer not to have to drill.

I bought it today and I will return it. It doesn't not fit very well in a M235i.
