Help and Info?
Hey guys just bought a BMW E90 325D 2007 M Sport pre lci and there is a few mods i would like to make or change.
I want to change the front bumper and bonnet to the Lci shape, i also want to change the mirrors to heated and folding mirrors that will fold in when i lock the car as mine dont do any of that. Also want to have heated leather seats as mine are just leather and not heated, what will i need to get to have them heated? I know i will need the switched and possibly wire loom? I want to get angel eye headlights or xenon headlights, will i have to change anything to run them? Has anyone done these to their car? If so is it easy to do or will someone be able to do the mods for me for a bit of cash if i was to get all the parts etc? Thanks |

If you needed all that then you bought a wrong car.
But LCI car with all those specs as retrofits are more expensive than what you think.

Heated seats are not worth the hassle! my BMW does not have them but my Merc does and I NEVER use them. I don't think they are worst all the extra cost to have them installed.

Angel eye halogens will cost you £250-300, xenons will set you back about a grand with fitting and coding etc.
Folding mirrors after wiring and coding will probably cost between £3-500 depending how much you pay for the mirrors

I think doing it yourself is all part of the fun, and also don't need to spend out all that money in the first instance.
Does your mirrors fold in when you press the button? If so you just need these coded if not then a new set of wing mirrors I think 2-300. Have a look on eBay for front and rear bumpers preferably in the colour of your car to save a respray! Some times there's some pretty cheap stuff knocking about on the forum also, as most of us normally put stuff on here before fleebay! Loads of people offering angle eye retrofit for again 2-300, but first try to convince josh to do a set of angle eyes for you and I will get mine done too Goodluck mate |
