A complete 180 from Autocar's first review after they test drove it in Los Angeles at the end of May. Nice review by this guy.

Steve Sutcliffe is, as far as UK auto journalists go, quite highly regarded in the UK. Maybe not the best at presenting, but as per Chris Harris, he's quite honest about how the car drives etc.
And yes, a much more glowing review of the i8 compared with the original Autocar write-up (which was the i8's worst review in the UK press to date) - link. It seems as though all the reviews are giving the i8 between 4-5 out of 5, so not bad at all |

I love how BMW is not trying to pass this off as a supercar, but instead they're showing us what bleeding edge technology can create in terms of styling, performance, handling, and sustainability. And the biggest point they're making is that you can have all of these in one car. Same with the i3, except for the looks... it's very Leaf-like.

Nice to see the i8 getting more and more positive reviews. Looks like a winner. Confirmation bias is always nice.
