SoCal Meet!

All,

With all of the cars that have already been delivered and others that have been purchased, I think we have reached a good time to coordinate a meet in the near future (or maybe it's just my selfishness kicking in and since I get my car here in about 3 weeks, I feel like it's time). Anyway, maybe for an initial meet, it would be cool to all meet up really early one morning in AUG/SEP and head to Cars & Coffee Irvine. If we could get 8-10 cars together and all parked together, I think it would draw plenty of attention. We could all put faces to names and see the variance in each other's builds and such. After, we could always go cruise PCH or do something. Looking for anyone who would be in or can offer anything different/additional. Let's do this.

Hoping for input. I can take criticism so if this seems totally lame, then don't hesitate to offer an alternative. Thanks!

You guys still have not received your cars yet?? Im almost ready to move on to my second one by now hahaha JK. Looking forward to seeing some pics from your trip!

Will do! Too bad you're so far up there! No worries, though. I will be headed up to Monterey/Big Sur/SF this fall with the gf.

^^Yea HWY 1 north to monterey is EPIC the best road in the state IMO.

That's what I've heard! My girlfriend ran the Big Sur half marathon and said it was insanely beautiful. I just moved out here from VA in October.

I don't want to thread jack your thread so Ill leave with this last post start in San Luis Obispo and take the 1 all the way up from there to monterey. Thats the best stretch.

Just be aware you will have no cell coverage out there and if you blow a tire out like I did once you will be stranded out there for hours since the closest tow truck will be hours away. You will have to use the SOS button in the car.

Its one of those things you never worry about till it happens to you which it did for me and thank goodness I was traveling with David Aviles and he had his car and he was able to go get a flatbed a lot faster then I was able to from BMW and even then was still out there for 3+ hours.

Not sure what the answer is to avoid this I guess just get lucky or take a spare of some sort lol

Car should be on the boat now, we would definitely be doing this on a Saturday.

Sorry, I'm newer to the West Coast so had no idea you guys have done this before. When I was on the East Coast, there were never any big/substantial meets other than Bimmerfest!

Got it. Looking forward to setting something up, we should be able to have something for everyone shortly as more and more Ms get delivered.
