Chrome Grill to Black

I listed these in the UK section, but thought it might be better here aswell.

I have used Plasti Dip to convert my chrome grill and brushed aluminium window trim into black.

nice, I did my grills and they're still holding up strong after a year which I didn't expect.. and I just sprayed it on un-expertly. it would be nice if it just stayed on there as I'm too lazy to do it again lol

I used Plasti Dip Glossifier so they are less Matt looking now.

It's about $40 for matte black/gloss black grilles off eBay that fit 100%. Takes about 2 minutes to install. Much easier than trying to paint your originals.

You should ideally use the glossifer before you peel away the excess matte plastidip, which is why it was difficult to peel...
