Fog Light Bulb Size??

Hi, I am just wondering what is the bulb size for the 2008 328i Sedan Fog light?? I was searching on the forum some say is H11 soome say is H8.... And also I heard some car's socket got melt after install after market Bulb...is that going to happen??? I am planning to get PIAA ion plasma 2300K. Anyone have those on?? How are they??

It's the fog light for the M-tech front. That foglight is not the same as the standard one.
