You want to do car related stuff on the fourth? In Chicago?! With a German car?! Have you ever heard of World War Two? I've already vowed not to drive my nazi mobile all day that day.

My suggestion is to buy a 30 of pabst blue ribbon, wear red white and blue, and get wasted whilst enjoying the spectacular fireworks Chicago will be offering.

When I drink pbr, it feels like George Washington is in my throat fighting the red coats. So every day is like the fourth for me.

But if you'd rather do something with your BMW, just remember their engines powered the Luftwaffe.

(No offense to my German friends)

Not really car related but one year I was in Chi-town for 4th of July and we decided to take a ferry/boat (whatever) out on lake Michigan to watch the fireworks. For like $25/head it basically goes out a little ways from Navy Pier and then turns around so you can see the entire city skyline. The coolest part is that when the fireworks start they reflect off of all of the sky scrapers and it makes it look like there are 10x more fireworks than there really are. Plus you have one of the best looking skylines (IMO) as a backdrop. Truly speculator! One of the best fireworks experience I've had so far. Highly recommend.
