Hi.

I had all my injectors tested recently and all came back ok but one came back with a new code?!?! Not sure why this is but thats what they told me.

Can someone tell me whether I would need this coding bearing in mind it is the same injector just with a new code.

ANy advice much appreciated.

If the code has changed I would say it needs coding again, as they are normally coded to the corresponding cylinder. Did they rebuild one? Just odd how its changed

No not rebuilt, just tested, so have no idea why it has a different code ??

Or ring the injector place up and ask why coding was changed? I assume the spray pattern or quantity has changed compared to the original coding.

From what I know the coding is unique to every injector so I assume the code is for a certain injected quantity at a certain duty cycle on the injector if that makes sense?,
