Silverstone ll in Charlotte NC?

Hi,
I ordered an f80 in SS but before production starts wanted to see the color in person. Anyone in Charlotte area have a silverstone that I could check out?

Thanks

I drove the SSII last Saturday at Performance BMW in Chapel Hill. SO interior and black wheels. Not a bad looking exterior color combo. Interior was not my taste.

UPDATED 6/24/14
As promised...my SA sent these to me moments ago.

When is your M4 expected? Ever go to cars and coffee? I'd love to see it

This seems to be the first and only Silverstone sighting in the US. If you are going to test drive this car soon, please take some pictures and post them here. Thanks.

Have you seen the black wheels in person? I just can't get on board with them, maybe on white? Then again that's just my take, which is usually in the minority.

The black center and polished outer make the wheel look smaller then they are IMO. Also in certain lighting/angels they look all black, not a compliment IMO. I was considering black but I just can't pull the trigger. Wish the style of the 18s were also available in 19.

The black wheels are great. The wheels and tires look very substantial. If you are concerned, don't order until you see them. Everything on these cars, both inside and out, looks better on person. Both the M3 and M4 are great looking cars. The best yet in my opinion. I've never really loved how the past M3s looked, although they looked good. These just bring a big grin. I really love how these cars look. Sorry I didn't take pics - thought they would be redundant.

Inside the showroom, the blue in the SS was really prominent. The most I'd seen before. Still a great color.

I waited to see if the owner of this SSII M4 would post photos of his beautiful new ride (give him the glory) - but nothing posted, so here are photos I took last week of a delivery in Bay Area, CA.

OK OK...My SA is sending the hi-res photos they took when the car was delivered. He will send them to me tomorrow and will post them here. If you don't see them posted toward the end of the day (EST) send me a kind reminder through the boards message service.

To be honest I was more impressed with the sapphire black, black wheels, black interior M4 that was on the floor. The M4 to me just looked FANTASTIC.

The black wheels were on my shit list from all of the pictures I saw from BMW and on this board. HOWEVER, once I saw them I LOVED them! I really do not think the M4 or the wheels are photogenic at all...just like me! In fact, I liked the black wheels so much I have now ruled out getting the HRE P101s. The only thing I worry about over time is that the black paint is a gloss and wonder if I will like that over time compared to a satin. BUT LOVE THE BLACK WHEELS!

M4 pickup in Munich 8/4/14 in the morning. Don't go to cars and coffee, but if you want to see it when it arrives around September (arrives at Performance BMW Chapel Hill, NC) ping me and I will meet up. The M4 is a MW, black interior, black wheels all options except driver's assistance package. Going to love the yellow metallic contrast of the CCB calipers against the black wheels!

I've got a great place for tint and exterior film protection (TVP Auto off Glenwood in Raleigh). I just need to know who can hardwire my Valentine V1 locally!

I posted some pics here too: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1002029. I have a couple more, not quite as good. I'll post them in the picture section.

Cheers.

I have seen them in person, twice. Once at the performance center during my M school, and once on the launch car at the dealer here in Nashville. I also was convinced that I didn't like them, until I saw them in person. The "polished" outer is not actually polished, as I thought it was, too. It's actually a dark, almost ferric gray, which makes them much more desirable, in my opinion. I think they would look great on any of the lighter color cars, and I'm convinced I will order them on my SO M3 (at some point in the future).

Wow!

Sounds excellent! Can't wait to see. It's funny you mentioned TVP I just called them today to talk about vinyl for my window trim.
