435i gran coupe at local dealership

Just checked it out, and while waiting for a test-drive, I thought I would post some pics.

435i GC luxury line (wish it were msport). $59k sticker

Attached some bad iPhone photos -- was hard to take pics because it is really sunny. Pic of me in rear is to show headroom for someone who is 5'8".

First impressions BEFORE driving are:

1) front is very reminiscent of f30
2) styling is very sleek on exterior, doesn't really look like any car BMW has done before
3) interior is a bit tight on headroom and I'm only 5'8. I imagine it would be challenging for very tall people
4) interior roof lines remind me of 6series GC, it's very sporty, much more so than f30
5) hatch opening is awesome and there's a ton of room, especially when seats are folded down
6) rear doors are small, smaller than I expected (maybe feels smaller since it's frameless)
7) rear seat felt plenty roomy
8) I hit my head on door frame getting out of drivers seat (maybe seats have to be at lowest setting for this car to have optimal comfort)

Can't wait to drive it!

Frameless doors look amazing.
I think carbon black (or is it imperial blue?) w/ that brown interior it's the best combo. Too bad that interior is not available with M-Sport.
The lower bumper on non M-Sport 4 and 4GC looks awful, like turtle ninja attacking. Much better on the 3.

I think that was midnight blue…not sure, didn't appeal to me so didn't pay attention to color. However, the combo was very nice.

The drive was great -- much tighter steering than my '13 F30, and this was in Luxury Line. I can't wait to see what it's like with MSport.

The 435i engine was a beast, but not as throaty sounding as an F33 convertible 435i that I had previously driven. That said, it was pretty impressive.

I currently have a 535xi and this would be an easy transition, even if the interior isn't quite as nice as the F10.

My other dealer, Herb Chambers, just got a 435i Carbon Black MSport GC, which I'm going to check out tomorrow. I'll get pics if I can.

It's a luxury line, only jet black and SBM are available, so it has to be IB.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get two bikes into the back of a 4GC, ideally without removing front wheels?

I had this interior on my '09 E90 and it looked great... I also had the sport package..
too bad its not available now in M Sport line......
