How to NOT show a change in mode on the LCD screen?

I find it annoying that every time I switch between sport, comfort, or eco pro modes, whatever's on the LCD screen changes to an image of the car and a declaration of which mode I'm selecting.

For example, if I'm looking at the map of the navigation system, and I switch from comfort to sport mode, the map disappears, and for about 5 seconds the screen tells me that I've switched to sport mode.

Is there a way to disable this so that I can just keep showing the map when I switch between driving modes?

There is an option under the vehicle settings to not display this on change. I'm not in my car so I don't have exact instructions, however it is an option to display or not.

I can check later but I turned it off on my non tech car. You just have to navigate down like 5 folders within settings and uncheck the box for "display change mode" or something like that. It's 100% doable. Mine only shows on the instrument cluster now saying what mode I'm in.

Alternatively, you can just hit the back button when it comes up to return to the previous screen, in case you don't want to turn it off completely.
