I don’t understand why someone would spend $130k to have a car that is exactly like any other M5 on the road. I will always put money into my vehicles so they are unique and special to me. I kept my car stock for 1200 miles and I didn’t even want to drive it.

I look for stuff to do to my cars all the time, beats illegal drugs

I appreciate the desire to modify in order to achieve appreciable gains in acceleration. I'm assuming you've done research pertaining to engine failures due to piggybacking. What "typically" fails and how do you prevent this from happening, if anything?

Of course. There are most likely already existing threads on the topic. My advice, don’t mod if you’re not ready to pay for the worst!

I hear you. If I couldn’t modify a car I seriously would buy a Ford Focus and just call it a day. I’m constantly upgrading and looking at different parts. Terrible financial investment but with 4 little kids it is all the fun I have nowadays
