For now... They are working on storage systems for Hydrogen beyond the simple compressed gas cylinder that could give an energy density near that of gasoline!!

As for Gas prices... I paid $3.10/gal for gas a couple of days ago in Buffalo.. $43 to fill the tank!!! Lucky I only need to commute less than 15 miles each way to work...

I swear. You americans are so damn spoiled. Even at $5 a gallon, its VERY cheap compared to other countries around the world.

Some of you need to go to asia or europe for awhile and drive there.

Prices still aren’t phasing me. But I find it funny that gas companies continue to raise prices blaming many different reasons (hurricanes, OPEC, wars, low oil supplies from countries that make up less than 5% of our imports) and yet they have record breaking profits last year. Of course the gov’t won't ever investigate oil companies since they are all buddies with Bush.

That sucks! I drive a tank a week because my school is 35 miles away. Luckily I found a carpool buddy this quarter. I remember when the gas used to be $1.80/gal

I just gotta keep on driving my wonderful E90. It's a bug that I cannot nor wish to get rid of, no matter what happens to petorl prices.

What a great car my 325 is.

gas is so bad around here i have to drive either north of mercer county or south. Almost every gas station is out of super (93) i put midgrade in once (89) and the car felt like shit. If some genious figures out that Ethonal is cheaper than Oil, and like southern states are prototying the use of enthonal in Home heating. Well hell we better invest in Ethonal stocks. Its the next big thing. Bio-Energy is in the near future.

hello everybody! happy to be a new member of this forum
I'm writing from Italy...here we are just one step away from 6$ per us gallon but I keep on being stuck in the traffic every day and during we it's even worse... the only effect I've seen so far it's that if don't drive diesel you look like a strange animal and, in the meanwhile, we are choked by emmissions of particulate

If it hits $5/gallon we should think about boycotting the gas stations. My bicycle is already tuned up.
