Handling before and after spacers
What's up everyone.
Just installed 15f/12r spacers on my 2021 comp. (not lowered). I noticed that the car slides out more ripping around turns. Before the spacers this thing was on rails. I would think with spacers it's a wider stance so handling should be better. Anyone else experience less traction around turns with spacers on ? Thanks

Adding spacers still changes the overall suspension geometry from factory, not limited to just a wider stance.
Many things can change when changing one variable. |

as he said^ it changes things.. How much, negligible to be felt on the street.
I just put spacers on two weeks ago, car feels the same. Did around 145 in Mexico car felt the same as prior. |

I suspect you weren’t cornering at the threshold doing 145 though. Lol

I noticed no changes from installing spacers. If you did the typical 11 or 12 mm front and 15mm rear, you are adding around 1” of track and that should not make a difference the average person can feel on the street. Maybe an experienced track driver could feel it or maybe lap times would show a change.

To those feeling vibrations -- did you use longer wheel bolts to account for the spacers? Did you use a grease/paste to mate the *clean* surface of the hub and spacer?

I had 12f/10r on my 2018 m5 and didn't have any issues. You think it's the size of the spacers ? Do I have to get an alignment done ?
