I would say that they are WAY more grabby than the stock pads, and I mean A LOT. This is more noticeable at lower speeds where what used to bring the car to a gradual stop, now brings it down quick. I just had to re-learn how much pressure to put on the brake pedal and all is well now. I did a hard stop from 130 and felt as if I was going to go through the front windshield. Having said that, I can't comment on prolonged brake usage as you would get in running a DE or circuit.
That's great then. My previous experience with ceramic pads was exact opposite granted it was years ago. Thanks for confirming.

Any updates on these pads after having used them a few months now?

They squeak under light to medium brake pressure, under hard pressure they’re quiet until you brake hard consistently like on a canyon or track where they develop a deep groan. Maybe you don’t drive your car enough to actually realize this
Sorry but your the one full of whatever. 911 turbo S cab silent, M5 comp silent, M2 comp silent.

I have about 5k on them now and they are still WAY better than OEM in every aspect. The wheels do get a little bit of dust on them but my tuner said that's probably road dust. It's been over 100F here everyday since the beginning of June and hasn't rained since then in this part of Texas.

For what it’s worth, I drove a 2022 R8 with 3K miles on it and they squeaked like crazy at every stop once under 5 mph.

lol i love when people speak in absolutes. Well if mine dont squeak then you are wrong and spreading bad info blah blah.

Sorry but yes it is well documented that CCBs CAN be noisy. That is great for those that have not experienced that. Its the same for OEM IRON. I didn't experience any noise from mine but most do. I swapped to ceramic pads for dust and i got a ton of noise from those pads this past winter for the first time. but have been whisper quiet since temps have reason.

Each person will have a unique experience but that certainly doesn't make it the rule for anyone nor should it be discounted as "wrong." It's there experience and you can't discount that.

Agreed. None of my M cars with steels have ever squealed (not that I recall) until my F95 X5M started squealing. Go figure. It really depends. I haven't personally experienced squealing in the 3 different CCB cars I've owned but it doesn't mean that it doesn't happen to other people.

For those who think CCB's don't dust. Here's my track wheels after one track weekend at Summit Point…

First time there, disabled all my timing equipment. Too dangerous. Was never at 100%

Was probably slow compared to where I should be. Also have no idea what normal times are there….

Ccb’s here….squeal like pig almost all the time. I will usually do few hard stops just to get them up to temp to curb the noise but slow stops will usually squeal. That being said I’ll take them over steels all day long.
