Sorry to revive an old thread. I personally like the look of the pre LCI f90, but have read they are harsher than the LCI f90. If I’m coming from an f80 comp, how does the ride quality / harshness compare to the pre LCI f90 comp? Thanks!

I have a pre lci m5 comp and the ride is fine to me, and my car is a dd

There is more road noise than you would expect from a 5 series but it rides better than an f80. That car was unnecessarily stiff and felt like it had zero suspension travel. The m5 feels pretty smooth in most circumstances in sport mode. I wouldn’t say the m5 comp is harsh, but that’s me.
