Mine understanding is if I use the warm up timer the settings are back to stock. Ones the timer is up then goes to settings efficient/ sport/ or race whatever you had last.

Sophisticated in what regards- knowledge of a tune or what it can impact???... I seriously doubt anyone here can not duplicate the posts that you see there but instead choose to buy a car and just enjoy it. So of course you wont see the level of input or results. But Ill fathom in overall life the M5 owners are rather sophisticated

Mod hungry- yes the M3/M4 section definitely appeals to that category of buyer and I appreciated that when I had my F82 back in 2016.

I have asked Germany, they said that they just haven't developed it due to the smaller market demand.

But, recently they said that they are working on it.

It is nice to have, but if you are the only driver of the car, you don't even need it.
Since once you are set on the Map that you like, you will not change it again.

On the M4, (yea, yea, I know completely different trans)..it made the shifts even more jerky.

I am not interested in losing the smoothness of the shifts while in efficient mode.

Also, Is power delivery as smooth as factory?

At part throttle, you will not know it’s on the M5.

The GTS was received today.. fantastic support and shipping from RG Sport.

(I am out of town and a buddy has my car)

Seriously could not ask for anything more.

Install I was told, took an entire 10 minutes.

Like others have said... there is no perfect placement for it. He wished it was a bit smaller for a more stable "living area" for the unit.

Also.. to go along with all the other complaints.. he says the app is completely worthless.

Save your cash. (Or hope for a working update to the app)

He sent proof that the unit is connected via Bluetooth... but yet the app always says unable to locate.

He is taking it to the track this evening (weather permitting) to see the difference.

I am using iPhone and it dose sometimes take a little but, no issues whatsoever

Worked well for me
I noticed when is trying to connect I manually move from page 1 to page 2 and it just seams to connect quicker. It could be just me believing it dose help. Lol
But I never had any mager connecting Problem

Haven't had any issues with the app yet. Works as expected. Make sure he's entering the serial number and the pin generated for it to connect to the phone.

This product doesn't intrude the ECU.
