No manual offering kills it for me. It's just not an M car with an automatic.....and it's certainly not a driving machine with one (aside from the few hardcore owners who will race at the track competitively and stand to gain something from few seconds advantage).
I know I'm beating a dead horse, but it's a sad sad day when you realize that an M car will no longer come with a manual transmission. |

The suspension looks very under-dampened - that's my biggest gripe with the non-zcp F10...way too bouncy and floaty for what it's supposed to be. Makes it feel loose. I do think they got rid of most of that with the zcp f10 but I hope the new one is sorted before it goes on sale...

And yes. It, too, sounds vastly better than the current M3/4.

Cross Bank EXHAUST Manifold + twin scroll Turbo + cylinder firing order = high pitch, even pulsed exhaust note. F90 does sound to have a throatier intake manifold though. |

Suspension is the biggest disappointment I have with my F10 CP in normal driving. Spring Rate and damper never seem to be in harmony with each other unless the surface is smooth as glass.
F90 is going to have some new tech and should be much better than the current car. |

Hopefully, They tune the noise. Not a huge fan of the way it sounds. Sounds ALOT like the current F10 M5. That could be because they're using the S63TÜ again.

- More engaging, more fun, more satisfying, "makes the car come alive" - Less mechanical complexity - Slightly less weight - Possibly higher collector value in the (near?) future Con 6MT arguments: - DCT prevents expensive "money shifts" on track days - Slower, worse fuel mileage - DCT is better in stop-and-go traffic - You are the weakest link and there's no hiding it any more

Everybody has different preferences...so from my point of view you guys overseas are the lucky ones, because here in the old world we are not able to buy a 6MT in a M5... |
