Carbon fiber front splitters question

For anyone who has installed the BMW Performance CF Front Splitters (PN 51192449921): how do they hold up under highway rock chip abuse? One of the reasons I'm thinking of getting them is that the Xpel kit I had installed left some of the areas covered by this part non-covered (which is stupid, IMHO). I'm looking to cover up the collection of paint chips that is slowly accumulating, but I don't want to spend $1200 just to have another expensive parts collect blemishes.

It's inevitable... Just the way of the world... With that said, I rarely if ever have bugs on the splinters, just bumper and headlights...

Get it and enjoy it... Rather have damage to the splitter than the naked bumper anyways...

There is always aftermarket one, like the AutoTecknic that I have been selling to my customers.

If you're worried about chips in the front splitter, Id definitely go with aftermarket splitters. It'll save you significant money over the OEM front splitters. Unfortunately in that area of the vehicle rock chips are just part of it. You can always warp in some PPF and do ceramic coat, but that may not totally hold up.

AutoTecknic and CarbonFiberCo are good options, you save a bunch and essentially get the same end result. If they get damaged, it doesn't feel as painful. End of the day, I've decided I bought my car to enjoy, that means it'll see some wear and thats ok.
