Weight reduction yes, the rear muffler section is titanium. MPE on F8x saves 27lb, this is probably a little more

Not sure about gains but best exhaust I’ve owned. Yea its a lil loud on cold starts but you can completely control how loud/quiet you want it. Drive in comfort it’s similar to a comp, tad louder outside. Can’t hear in cabin really. Put it in sport + and d3. Pops and crackles like an f1 race car. Perfect to letting people know they shouldn’t be in the far left lane and driving slower than traffic. . I, and I’m might be wrong, felt the base and comp exhausts actually droned and had a lower resonance. This not so much.
Love mine so much trying to see if can get it to fit a X5 I just picked up. |

calbear is right on, this is the perfect sound. It's not to loud but loud when you want it. Pops are very nice and it's super light, you can hold the muffler by its self and the mid pipe in one hand. Well worth the upgrade.
