LCI iDrive screen retrofit

Hi, so I was able to find that new idrive screen is about 2k. There is no return on it once ordered. Now my question is that if it is just simple plug n play. I'm not looking for idrive 7 software or anything just want a bigger screen. Any input will be appreciated. Thx

Appears he paid EUR 400 for it on Ebay.

Here is the part # and the seller .. waiting confirmation on the harness question.

This is some great info. Only things left to ask would be what version idrive does ur friend has, if he had to modify anything including any harnesses, also was there any programming or coding needed? If he has idrive 6 and share pics with new screen installed that would be great. Really appreciate all your help as this will help a lot of folks. Thx

I ordered one for me but my buddy has a 2018 so wanted to make sure it will work got him as well?
