It's aggressive, but not too loud with catted in my opinion

Is there any material performance gain with high flow cats? I know deleting the cats has a big performance gain but I don't want the fuel smell.

I was considering a remus exhaust on its own or just high flow cats and deleting the resonator on my stock exhaust (will it drone?)

If there is a good sound and performance gain with high flow catted downpipes, then this seems to be an attractive optio, plus possibly deleting the resonator delete is the way to go for a bang for buck solution.

Thoughts please.

bang for your buck,

Secondary CAT delete, Res/OPF delete. Job done.

I got these from china around £200. They look real good. Tig welded with filler wire used. Not you usual rubbish from the look of them. Worth a punt at 200 notes

Stock exhaust is more or less straight through when the valves are open

Mapped that should easy give you around 730-750bhp depending where you go.

I have Keller primary and secondary and it sounds fine. I don't think it's too loud except cold start or wot.

The power difference between high flow cats and catless is negligible on stock turbos

is there much to be had from de-cat?. Wild claims of 40+whp but i find that hard to believe. I see a guy (allmotor_2000 I think) on the F10 forum saying cats are fine till 900bhp?

I am leaving in the primary cats due to smell and i dont need every last drop of power. Removing secondary for a bit more noise. OPF will be deleted as well.

I recommend upgrading to high flow catted primary pipes for best power and catless secondary pipes for the best sound

So for someone wanting to get the best bang for buck solution sound wise what would you suggest? Secondary category delete? Would I also need upgraded exhaust or to remove the resonator?

Thanks

It depends on what kind of sound you prefer. I personally like the sound of the catted primary with catless secondary. its also the better option in my opinion because fully catless is way to raspy with an aftermarket exhaust

What high flow downpipes do you recommend for F90? I just checked your website, but only see the you carry catless.

Would the catted primary’s avoid a check engines light on 21 f90s with a JB4?

Nope.
Hi-Flow catted downpipe will still trigger CEL.

Evolution Racewerks catted downpipe is made to order.
Since most guys and especially my customers are asking for catless.
