I've been at Bayonne port since last Thursday, scheduled to leave this Thursday for the dealership. Seems like a week in Bayonne, lets see if that holds true

My build moved from beginning production to body assembly today haha. So maybe I'll beat the estimated January 8th completion?

Industry and production are not shutting down, just certain stores, hotels, restaurants etc.

In my case it's actually moving faster than expected. My build was due to be done January 8 and it's already on the line.

So the arrival of my LCI comp continues to be delayed. Was supposed to be at port on 12/12 but didn't actually arrive at the port of Baltimore until 12/15.

Then was expecting it to arrive at the dealer middle of last week but then was notified that it would arrive on Sunday (yesterday). But of course that didn't happen and also didn't get to the dealer today either.

Hoping to get it to the dealer before Christmas so I can take delivery on Saturday but not optimistic.

The wait continues...

My car continues to sit at the port Baltimore VPC. Dealer sent me a screenshot of status and it's been released to carrier and carrier assigned since Tuesday but still hasn't left VPC.
The port accessories are done and installed (hopefully) there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the car.
Not really sure what the holdup is but this is definitely the worst waiting since it's been stateside for nearly two weeks now.

My car is on Precious Ace, heading to New York and is supposed to be in port tomorrow. Anyone else have a car on this ship?

My M5C LCI just entered production. I feel like I've graduated! So glad I changed series. I can't get over how the new M3 looks and IMO, the current M5 is one of the most beautiful cars BMW has ever designed!!

So after two weeks at VPC and 6 days with carrier assigned it finally arrived this morning. Going to take delivery Wednesday.

For those who are following and weren't aware - on the my bmw webpage, once your car arrives at VPC/VDC, the status goes back to "at the port". Once it's on a carrier, it goes to "in transit" and then "at the dealership".
I wasn't aware about the second "in transit" - thought it would just go straight to at the dealership.
