Exclamation Jump Start

I looked in my driveway and found one of my headlights on... (Just one of them was on, not the other) but that's another issue for another day.

So I went to go start my car, and it won't start. I'm sure its a dead battery.

I've used the search function already and here's what i've got so far:

-It's okay to jump start, use the posts under the hood
-It's okay to jump start, open up your trunk to get to the battery
-Call BMW roadside assistance.
-Push it down a small slope and start it that way
-DON'T EVER JUMP START IT, IT WILL FRY YOUR COMPUTER!!!!!

So I'm pretty confused and I want some clarification.
Can I jump start my BMW using the posts under the hood, from a toyota tundra or will my BMW explode

Thank yaa <3

Its okay to jumpstart it. Just pop your hood....look for the red terminal cap on the pass side towards the windshield. Clamp the black to something metal like a bolt for your ground. I used a silver metal brace not too far from the red terminal.

Yup what he said. Don't bother opening up the battery compartment, not necessary. Also I believe there is a certain order in which the jumper cables must be applied (escapes me now, but could be in owner's manual).
