Hi All

Need some help please.

I recently purchased a BMW approved used M5 Comp LCI (2021 model). I'm having the car detailed at the moment and the specialist thinks the bumper isn't a genuine BMW part.

He said the black parts on it are usually finished in gloss but for some reason mine are matte. Just wondering if any other owners can confirm what the finish should be please?

I've attached pics, apologies they're not the best. They've come straight from the detailer while washing the car. He's also spotted scratches which I'm going to speak to BMW about.

Those black parts should be high gloss.

Those pictures look like the previous owner sanded the parts to make them look matte.

Thanks for the responses. Looks like they're replacement third party parts. Crazy to think this is how BMW sold an AUC!
