Majority of what I have seen are o2 extenders, you reuse the factory o2 and it sits further out and or exposed to fresh air tricking it into thinking everything is good.

Those won’t work to prevent a CEL on these cars with catless primaries. There are some high flow cat primaries that won’t give a CEL but they are expensive. Catless secondaries cause no issues and are the simplest way to go if you do not want to pay $4000 for high flow cat primaries or flash tune the car.

no other sensors or spacers or tricks will help here. you only have 2 ways if you want to get rid of the cel and not flash the car. you can either install the standard pipes back or install new pipes with euro6 sports cats. there is a manufacturer who makes them much better than hjs

Actually a piggyback like the JB4 can simulate the signal for the secondary 02. But that version of the JB4 is not sold in the US because it is illegal here. It may still be available in other markets.

I think someone could build an obd2 plug in device that could simulate the rear 02 signal, but I have not seen one yet for these cars. I do know the signal is not steady state so the simple, old 02 modifier devices do not work.

I think one of those mini cat devices has the potential to work, but have tried one myself on a different car and the one I tried did not work. Maybe a better one would? The theory makes sense.
