How to know which tires?
Hi all -
How would one know which tires are being fitted to a recently ordered 2023 M5C? Understand it could be any of three varieties between the Michelin Pilots, Pirelli P Zeros, and the Bridgestone Potenzas? Is there a way to establish which you'd want to have? Can they be switched out by the dealer? Thanks! |

As a general matter, if you want the dealer to switch them out, you’re going to have to pay for the additional other set. A good negotiator could probably get this worked into the deal somehow to avoid paying for it, but that’s likely to be a matter of perception. You’ll always pay for it somehow, even if it’s buried somewhere else in the numbers. EDIT — Just you’re in Canada. My scenario was for US spec cars. Not sure if the same applies to you.

best bet is to just buy a set of PS4s ready to get installed when the car arrives. If the car comes with PS4s then just return them (or keep them because you're going to need them at some point). If it comes without PS4s then you can pretty easily sell a brand new set of tires and recoup most of the money the PS4s cost.
