Curious on your thoughts of the driving dynamics of the M8 vs the M5. I ask because I have a 2021 M5 comp that I won’t be getting rid of but thinking of adding an M8 Convertible to the garage but also considering an M4 Convertible just to have something different. My thought is that the M8 will “feel” the same as the M5. Thoughts on how the M5 feels vs the M8?

Second redcarrera, you've got excellent taste! (Pre LCI M5 here, but incoming M5C is the same color specced)
Congratulations on your new car!

You never know on Wilshire since it connects half of the town. Saw it and thought of your posts so figured maybe it was you but didn't think of the temp plate technicality lol. Hope you enjoy your car in good health!

Unpopular opinion: I like the m5 better than the m8.

I don't think it's unpopular. The M8 has inferior seats, no seat massaging, a small screen still……quite honestly I think the interior looks dated too with the center console as opposed to the more open look of the X5, X7 and 5 series.
I'd probably take a LCI 8 just due to the larger screen. Couple that with the fact it's more money than any of them….meh. I get the M8 itch too sometimes but don't want to pay more for a less luxurious car.
