About one month with a build slot already assigned.
How about from Dispatched from the Factory to delivery on the East Coast? I'm figuring about 2-3 weeks with Covid?

My car was just dispatched today but BMW Genius does not have a vessel or carrier name yet. (I feel like a kid on Christmas night! The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys!

4-6 weeks?

Mine has been at port a week already and could be there another week. Saw someone in another thread who gets loaded on a vessel 11/2 and they’re likely now past Thanksgiving on taking delivery.

Thanks bruza!

Wow, thought you'd already have yours by at least this weekend. Yes, I heard some cars are still getting hung up at the port with customs etc.(Covid doesn't help). Well, it's here on US soil so that's a plus anyway.

Guess I'm still looking at sometime in December then.

FWIW my car sailed though customs in a day (@ Baltimore), so maybe things are not universally delayed?

Hey guys, first time posting on here. I have NEVER owned/leased a BMW and I put in my order for the 21 M5C in August. I checked the status today ( like I do everyday) and its finally in transit, and I am super stoked about it!! I am hoping to pick it up sometime in november. I just want to say that all of your posts have been so informative and I have learned a lot. I am in Southern California, so maybe I can join a meet sometime in the near future! have a great day everyone

Mine sat at the port for 16 days, then 12 days in transit, 5 days at the VPC, so,total 33 days from Bremerhaven to Brunswick.

Mine reportedly just got released to the carrier and is on its way to the dealership! MYBMW still hasn't caught up to that but we know there is a delay in that platform.

I hope you were able to pick up the car already! My M5 Comp arrived at the dealership yesterday and like the original poster of this thread, it got a stop-sale. Seems to be affecting all M5s manufactured since April 2018 in addition to a bunch of other M models.

I know..mine us still stuck at the port. I called BMW Genius and they looked into it and told me BMW issued a Stop Sale Recall due to a fuel tank ventilation.

I also called my CA and he couldn't give me any more info. Not sure how long it will be delayed now or even if I'll get it this year. This really sucks! :

Is anyone else unable to track their build on the "my bmw" website? Mine was fine until yesterday afternoon, now "my garage" page won't load.
Of course my build also just flipped to 150 production begins yesterday.

That part of the site is down for me too. It’s not the most reliable, in my experience, so I wouldn’t think too much of it.

Thanks for letting me know. I was under the impression that it was fairly accurate so good to know, thanks.
Just tried the old school way and called the 800#, completion expected 11/19.

Hard to say. I had a production number the day I put in an order. Went in 112 on 10/29 and entered production 150 this past Monday 11/9.
Anticipated completion is 11/19
I may be overly optimistic but I'm hoping to see it before the new year but if covid rates keep increasing the way it has, I would expect some slow downs along the way.

Anyone else with a car in production? Waiting impatiently as my car crawls it's way though production. It's been stuck in "production begins" for a week now with an estimated completion of 11/19. Not sure how that's going to be possible but I'm staying optimistic.

It moved two steps in less than 24 hours. Late yesterday it went into exterior assembly and this morning it's in the paint booth.
